Too many CPR classes feel rushed, outdated, or forgettable. SOTA Medical Training was built to deliver a better experience, combining nationally recognized certifications with hands-on instruction that prepares people to act confidently when it matters most.
Founded in Victoria, Minnesota, SOTA focuses on modern, professional training that makes lifesaving skills clear, approachable, and memorable.
Meet Your Instructor
Clayten is the founder and lead instructor of SOTA Medical Training. He serves as a Firefighter/EMT and brings real-world emergency response experience to every class he teaches.
Clayten has worked extensively in emergency operations, incident coordination, and public safety planning, including managing response operations for large venues and events. His background in both field response and emergency management allows him to teach CPR, AED, and First Aid with a practical focus on how these skills are used in real emergencies.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Arizona State University, with academic study focused on crisis response, disaster management, and public safety.
Through SOTA Medical Training, Clayten provides American Heart Association Heartsaver and BLS CPR, AED, and First Aid training to individuals, businesses, schools, and organizations across the Twin Cities. His classes emphasize hands-on learning, clear instruction, and building the confidence to act when it matters most.
